Symptoms
Fraction characters (such like ½) in line description is not displaying correctly in PDF output.
BI Publisher typically uses the delivered Albany fonts (ALBAN*.ttf) by default to display any foreign or special characters in the report. However, when a report contains any of the following Unicode fraction characters, they are not displayed correctly in the generated PDF output, and the box
character will be displayed instead.
The issue occurs for the following 3 fraction characters only:
⅐ , ⅑ , ⅒ (1/7th, 1/9th and 1/10th)
Other fraction characters such as the following do work:
⅓ , ⅔ , ⅕ , ⅖ , ⅗ , ⅘ , ⅙ , ⅚, ⅛ , ⅜ , ⅝ , ⅞ (1/3rd , 2/3rd , 1/5th , 2/5th , 3/5th , 4/5th , 1/6th , 5/6th , 1/8th , 3/8th , 5/8th , 7/8th )
