Fluid Enrollment Activity Not Enforcing Career Pointers Prior to Submitting the Enrollment (Doc ID 2575759.1)

On : 9.2 version, Student Records Enrollment

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When a student is active and term activated in multiple careers and a classes are scheduled across those careers, the student is allowed to select a career <> the career of the selected class.  Student can then proceed through the activity guide and complete enrollment before getting an error that cross career enrollment is not allowed.

In Classic self service, an error is returned as soon as the student selects the class and the student is not allowed to submit the enrollment.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to fluid self service and click Manage Classes > Class Search and Enroll.
  2. Select a class from the search results.
  3. Select a career not equal to the course career on step 1 of the Activity Guide. Proceed to add the class and error doesn't occur until the enrollment request is submitted.
