Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Campus solutions 9.2 version, Student Records Enrollment

Blind grading ids are not unique for a course.

When multiple class sections take an exam together multiple students in the exam hall may have the same blind grading ids.

This opens the possibility that Student grades may be input into the wrong class grade roster.

We expect and need each student in the COURSE (not section) to have a unique blind grading id

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigation: Curriculum Management > Course Catalog > Course catalog (offering tab)

  1. Check on 'Use Blind Grading' check box  so all sections/classes use blind grading

Navigation: Curriculum Management > Schedule of classes > Schedule new course

  1. Set up multiple sections of the course Create 5 or 10 classes using the blind grade option.

  1. Enroll 300 students in each section for a total of 1500 student and run grade roster.
