E-PORTAL: Processing Icon does not show when save is clicked after a Modal Popup on a Page (Doc ID 2577315.1)

This works fine in previous patches. This issue is confusing to end users prompting them to click on save multiple times.



Symptoms

 One example of the issue is like below:

1- Log into People Tools 8.56.09
2.Navigate to Peopletools >Portal >Branding > Branding System options
3. Change the default Branding
4. Save the change

Results : The client gets a pop up to confirm the branding change. After the pop up, however, there is no spinning wheel (Processing) icon. Only after the page saves does a small pop up with "Saved" that appears. In prior PeopleTools releases, the 'Processing' icon will continue spinning until the page is saved.
