Per PeopleBooks > Payroll for North America > Setting Up Payroll Tax Tables > (USA) / Viewing Federal and State Table Tables > Tax Table - Rates Page
Credit Amount: Not currently used by PeopleSoft Payroll for North America.
However when a user navigates in PeopleSoft Application,
Set Up HCM > Product Related > Payroll for North America > Federal/State Taxes > Tax Table > Rates
For AL state, the 'Credit Amount' field has values.
What is the purpose of values in the 'Credit Amount' field?
