EGM: Award Profile Certification Tab Requires Expiration Date To Be Entered When Pending Certification. The Validation Is Incorrect. (Doc ID 2589232.1)

On : 9.2 version, Award Profile

When trying to edit some fields on Award tab of the Award profile and Save the following message is received. The validation on certification tab kicks off requiring to enter the expiration date to be entered when Indicator has value of "Pending Approval" or "No"

On Award Profile, the certification tab now requires an expiration date to be entered when there is a pending certification. This did not occur in version 9.1. If the certification is pending approval, an expiration date should not be required.

Expiration Date cannot be less than Certification Date

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Grants, Institution, Certifications/Compliance
2. Make sure you have multiple Certifications with some certification codes with indicator "No" (No certication date and Expiration Date populated), for some "Pending Approval" (Certification Date populated and Expiration Date is blank) and for some "Yes" for some (Certification Date populated and Expiration Date populated).
3. Create a proposal, submit and generate the award
4. Once the award is generated, try to modify the long description of the award or any other field. This causes validation on the certification page and enforces the "Expiration Date" is populated by the user. Otherwise the component is not saved.
