Symptoms

Sample environment  :  Tools 8.55.xx

Issue:  PeopleSoft application integration with 3rd party stopped working after 3rd party deprecated SHA-1 cipher suites.  The 3rd party is expecting SHA-2 cipher suites.  The Integration Broker errorlog shows:


HttpTargetConnector:ExternalSystemContactException Connection reset

IOException: The host couldn't be resolved.

java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:196)
at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:122)
at sun.security.ssl.InputRecord.readFully(InputRecord.java:442)
at sun.security.ssl.InputRecord.read(InputRecord.java:480)
at sun.security.ssl.SSLSocketImpl.readRecord(SSLSocketImpl.java:946)
..
..


And the PIA_weblogic.log shows the error message as :

[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)', handling exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset>
