E-DPK: PeopleTools 8.57 DPK - ERROR : No PeopleSoft Appliance (OVA) found, nothing to import (Doc ID 2595372.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.57.01 - 8.57.03 version, Install and Packaging


When attempting to install PeopleTools 8.57 using the PeopleTools 8.57.01 Deployment Package (DPK) files, the following error occurs during the DPK setup process in the psft_dpk_setup.log:

 

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download the PeopleTools 8.57.01 DPK setup files for Windows (or the PeopleTools 8.57.01 DPK setup files for Linux).
  2. Run the psft-dpk-setup.bat script.
  3. Error occurs.
