EAM: AMDPCALC Process Getting Scheduled With Delay Of 2 Hrs & Remaining In Queued Status (Doc ID 2595373.1)

Symptoms

AM_DEPR_CALC process is scheduling the AMDPCALC process with delay of 2 hrs. It is happening for users having local timezone set as PST (Pacific time) in preferences.

Steps:

1. Peopletools Options page - Set Base time as CST.

2. User VP1 > login 'My Preference¿ settings is set as PST time zone.

3. Run Depreciation for asset 000000000153 without any timezone - AMDPCALC process getting scheduled with delay of 2 hrs & remaining in Queued status.

4. Run Depreciation for asset 000000000154 and timezone defaulted to CST - AMDPCALC process getting scheduled with delay of 2 hrs & ending successfully.

Note: Issue does not occur for users having the local timezone set as CST in preferences.
