When Performing a Reporting Change, the Prompt On the Supervisor Name Field Lookup Never Completes, Which Eventually Leads To Session Time-Out (Doc ID 2600329.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 26, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When doing an unfiltered lookup on the Supervisor field on the  Request Reporting Change page, the SQL statement doesn't complete in allowable time before session time-out.
However, when a partial name is included in the field, the SQL statement does complete and there is no time-out.

The issue is not replicated in DEMO.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login as Manager UserID
2. Go to MSS Fluid Homepage > My Team Tile > Employee Name > Related Actions Menu > Job and Personal Information > Request Reporting Change
3. Click the "Supervisor Name" Search icon
