Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using a PSQuery to fetch employees in Group Build, the count returned does not match the count of employees returned by the PSQuery.

The issue can be replicated as follows:

  1. Create a PSQuery in Query Manager and review result count.  Navigation: Reporting Tools > Query > Query Manager
  2. Use this same PSQuery in a Group Build Definition. Navigation: Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Group Build
  3. Click on the icon on the Group Build Definition page to show the count result.
  4. Notice the count from the PSQuery does not match the count result in the Group Build Definition.
