Symptoms

Time Administration - TL_ABS_RSLV doesn't resolve retro processed absences

Time Administration Rules should have consistent data for calculations, and end up with consistent results

STEPS
-----------------------

1. Leave Without Pay transaction created in Absence Management for the date of 12/26/2018. When this was originally created, the TL_ABS_RSLV app engine in Time Administration resolved the absence and inserted it into TL_IPT1 for use within Time and Labor rules. The rule identified leave without pay on 12/26 and correctly prevented the pay of holiday on 12/25.

2. After retro absence processing, the TL_ABS_RSLV program fails to resolve the absence and insert it into TL_IPT1. As a result, the time and labor rules do not have the absence available and generate holiday pay incorrectly. Any other rule that also relies on absence data for payable time calculations is going to create incorrect payable time or reversals/adjustments if retro absence processing no longer resolves the absences into TL_IPT1.
