EGL: Update To Existing Combination Rule Is Not Reflected In PS_COMBO_DATA_TBL After Running Chartfield Combo Build FS_CEBD (Doc ID 2606476.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Update to existing Combination Rule is not reflected in PS_COMBO_DATA_TBL

Given the existing configuration below :

ORG_DEPT Combination Definition
ORG_DEPT Combination Rule
ORG_DEPT Combination Group

Request made to add an additional operating unit value to the existing combination rule.

After running the Chartfield Combo Build FS_CEBD process, the new operating unit value does not appear on the resulting PS_COMBO_DATA_TBL.

Have tried adding the new operating unit value to an existing step within the existing ORG_DEPT combination rule then running the Combo Build FS_CEBD process, however the new operating unit value still does not exist on the PS_COMBO_DATA_TBL.

Would like to have this resolved so Finance user does not need to continue performing manual review of journal entries.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Given the existing ORG_DEPT Combination Definition, Combination Rule and Combination Group
2.Add a new operating unit value to the existing combination rule
3.Then run the Chartfield Combo Build FS_CEBD process
