Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to run CSCBLBLD.bat to compile COBOLS, the process finishes, but does not result in a successful compile. In some cases, the log may indicate that the compile is running successfully until the very end when it gives the following error messages:

The issue seems related to only to the additional cobol (INAS) and not the other application cobol. Also, previous known factors with similar problems involving CSCBLBLD.bat, such as documented in <Note 2387744.1> have been ruled out.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Invoke the CSCBLBLD.bat compile routine.
  2. Observe the results in the compile window, and review the CSCBLBLD.log file when completed.

Changes

The issue first started to be seen after applying the Aid Year Updates patches from Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM Image 15.
