Goal

Qn1:The Retire/Reinstate Asset online component provides the ability to retire an asset book by book. This functionality does not appear to be available via the Spreadsheet Template since BOOK is not included for selection. This causes all books to get updated for retirement when the intention is to retire only one or some books but not all. The result is that the depreciation is incorrect for the asset as a whole.
 
Qn2:Why was the functionality to retire an asset book by book not included in the design of the Spreadsheet Template?
