Tax Form Used Updated to Blank on ISIR Corrections for Changes Made Via INAS Simulation (Doc ID 2613992.1)

After making corrections to fields on the Simulate 2019-2020 FM INAS Component (INAS Simulation 19/20), and clicking the 'Use Simulated Data' button, the Tax Form Used fields on the Correct 2019-2020 ISIR Records component (ISIR Corrections 19/20), on both the Student and Parent tabs, are changed to blank. This behavior occurs regardless of whether the Tax Form field values themselves were modified on INAS Simulation.

On the same corresponding components for 2020-2021, the issue also occurs, but only when changing the Tax Form field itself.

The issue does not occur when making the changes directly on the ISIR Corrections components.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Federal Application Data > Simulate 2019-2020 FM INAS
  2. Make changes, but not to tax form field
  3. Click 'Use Simulated Data'
  4. Review new ISIR row and ISIR Audits page
  5. Create correction file and review information in the file
