Person Comment Detail page displays the wrong EMPLID. (Doc ID 2614389.1)

Symptoms

When a user navigates to Campus Community > Comments > Comments - Person > Person Comment Detail and views an existing comment that has no EMPLID value for CMNT_ID, the page displays the current users EMPLID.

This scenario is rare, but the current behavior is not intended and is considered a defect. If the value for CMNT_ID is blank it is expected that the Person Comment Detail page will display no value for this field instead of the current user's EMPLID.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Locate or create a PERSON_COMMENT row that has no value for CMNT_ID. (Example: do this as a user that does not have an EMPLID assigned)
  2. Navigate to Campus Community > Comments > Comments - Person > Person Comment Detail
  3. Open the comment from step 1.
  4. Observe the Comment ID field.
