Symptoms

After upgrading PeopleTools patch level. PeopleTools application server will not start and boot up.

For example: PeopleTools patch level has been upgraded from PT 8.56.12 to PT 8.56.20. However, after upgrading to new patch level i.e. to PT 8.56.20. When trying to start and boot up the application server, it results in the following error in the <PS_HOME>/appserv/<DOMAIN-NAME>/LOGS/APPSRV_MMDD.LOG.log:
