EAR: View Image And Email Push-buttons Not Displayed At Collections Workbench If Date-stamp Of Image Is After Supporting Documentation Date-stamp (Doc ID 2619213.1)

Symptoms


A problem has been detected at the Collections Workbench page (COLLECTION_WRKBNCH), where the View Invoice Image and Email columns within the Item List section, and Detail 7 tab, are missing the respective push-button icons for certain Item transactions, even though it is confirmed that such transaction has Invoice Image and Supporting Documents attached, and present, in the Record PS_BI_HDR_ATTACH.

From performed analysis, it has been determined that these 2 push-buttons do not get properly displayed if the Supporting Documentation was uploaded into the Billing invoice at an earlier stage than the Invoice Image (created by Finalize and Print Invoices process), when Invoice Form XMLPUB is used.

REPLICATION STEPS:

    1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Billing and Receivables User
    2.- At the Business Unit Billing Definition level, ensure that 'Attach Invoice Image Option' setting is selected
    3.- At the Business Unit Billing Options level, ensure that Invoice Form is defined as XMLPUB
    4.- Proceed to create a new Invoice transaction in Billing, for Invoice Form XMLPUB, and 'Invoice Media having 'Email Invoice as Attachment'
    5.- Save the new Invoice in a Status of NEW
    6.- Proceed to upload Supporting Documentation both at the Header, or Line level, and save the changes
    7.- Set the Invoice to a Status of RDY (Ready)
    8.- Launch the Single Action Invoice process (BIJOB03 PS Job) to completion for the Invoice ID in question
    9.- In Accounts Receivable module, confirm a new External Pending Item Group has been created, and place it to Post Action Batch Standard
    10.- Launch AR Update with the Pending Items option selected for the given Business Unit
    11.- Confirm at the Customer Account level, that the new Item has been properly posted, and it has attachments at the Header and Line level, including Supporting Documentation, and Invoice Image
    12.- Navigate to the Collections Workbench, search by Business Unit, and Customer ID, and find the Item ID in the Item List section
    13.- Go to the Details 7 tab, and within the row of this Item ID, confirm that the columns View Invoice Image, and Email, are empty, without the expected push-buttons, or are completely missing from the grid

Receivables Users are unable to view the needed supporting documentation, or Invoice Image file, when navigating through Collections Workbench, which limits the tasks to be completed if such data cannot be properly reviewed.

Regardless of the order of uploaded files into the PS_BI_HDR_ATTACH table are done, both Supporting Documentation, and Invoice Images should be available for review at Collections Workbench, with the push-buttons of View Invoice Image and Email to be displayed at all times if there are files present.
