 Frequently Asked Questions:

Sl.No Question Answer
1 Can I have the PDR2 changes in production before April 2021? Yes, the PDR2 changes can be in production before April 2021. The components will change based on the date. For example, until 31st March 2021, it will reflect PDR1 and from 01-Apr-2021 it will reflect PDR2 changes
2 We are on tools version prior to 8.58, can we apply the image 36 for PDR2? Yes. You can but we recommend customers to be on latest tools version
3 Do we need to run payroll to generate New and Departing file? Not required. New and departing file is not dependent on payroll as it is reporting of personal data. Hence, New and Departing file is independent of Calculation of payroll and Create PDR data process.
4 Whether exempt income codes are readily available? The exempt income codes should be mapped to corresponding exempt income using supporting element override. Once mapped the new PDR changes will pick these codes for reporting.
5 What is included in paid Hours? Paid Hours is reported in the employment file of PDR2 and this is an optional field for reporting. Global Payroll does not have paid hours hence Standard hours is mapped to this field.
