After Registering a Bidder Contact, the Password That is Generated Does Not Work for Logging Into Supplier Portal (Doc ID 2619753.1)

Symptoms


When adding a new bidder user to an existing bidder with password control enabled system is not allowing the new user to log in after receiving the E-Mail notification containing the user name and a complex password, however if the password controls are not setup system will allow bidder users to login without any issue.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set password control to be complex password
2..Create a new bidder user.
3. Using the username and password from the E_mail notification to log in to supplier portal.
4. Not able to log, system always saying invalid username and password.
