EAR: Performance Degradation When Trying To Delete A Regular Deposit With 14,000+ Payments Transactions Listed (Doc ID 2619816.1)

Symptoms


Users get a session time out when trying to delete a Regular Deposit containing over 14000+ Payment transactions from the below two navigation paths:

    A.- Accounts Receivable > Payments > Online Payments > Regular Deposit > Totals tab
         - Page: PAYMENT_DATA1
         - Component: PAYMENT_ENTRY
         - Menu: APPLY_PAYMENTS

    B.- Accounts Receivable > Payments > Online Payments > Express Deposit > Action tab
         - Page: PAYMENT_EXPRESS3
         - Component: PAYMENT_EXPRESS
         - Menu: APPLY_PAYMENTS

The system drags in performance endlessly until the User is kicked out.

Note that the below Defect fixes have already been applied into the system:

     - <Bug 26988956>     (From FSCM 9.2 Image #27)

     - <Bug 27268180>     (From FSCM 9.2 Image #28)

     - <Bug 27965198>     (From FSCM 9.2 Image #30)

REPLICATION STEPS:

   SCENARIO A: Regular Deposit Component

    1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Receivables User
    2.- Navigate to: Accounts Receivable > Payments > Online Payments > Regular Deposit
    3.- Search for a Regular Deposit Group that contains over 14,000+ Payment transactions within
    4.- Open the Regular Deposit listed
    5.- Go to the Totals tab
    6.- Click on the Delete Deposit button
    7.- The system pops up the below Message:
           " Delete this deposit? (6040,102)
             If you delete this deposit, all deposit and payment information entered in this panel group will be deleted. "
    7.- Click on Yes button
    8.- The system spins for a while, until eventually it times out, and kicks the User from the session

   SCENARIO B: Express Deposit Component

    1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Receivables User
    2.- Navigate to: Accounts Receivable > Payments > Online Payments > Express Deposit
    3.- Search for a Regular Deposit Group that contains over 14,000+ Payment transactions within
    4.- Open the Regular Deposit listed
    5.- Go to the Action tab
    6.- Click on the Delete Express Deposit button
    7.- The system pops up the below Message:
           " Delete this deposit? (6040,102)
             If you delete this deposit, all deposit and payment information entered in this panel group will be deleted. "
    7.- Click on Yes button
    8.- The system spins for a while, until eventually it times out, and kicks the User from the session


Receivables Users are unable to delete large Deposits with high amount of Payments from the system. Asides of loosing all the changes performed, timing out also means the Users need to re-log into the FSCM Online Application.

The system should allow Users to edit, and delete any transaction desired, and eventually save those actions without timing out.
