Requisition Header Comments Disappear After Adding an Empty Line Comment (Doc ID 2625826.1)

Symptoms

Requisition header comments disappear after adding an empty line comment. 

Add a requisition header comment. Click "Add" for a requisition line comment, click OK without entering anything, Click Details for that Line, click OK. the header comments disappear.

Just entering and exiting "Details" causes it to disappear/reappear, but you must have entered comments and "added" an empty line comment before-hand.

Steps To reproduce the issue:

1.Create a requisition Select the Requisition Menu option, then select an item.
2.Chose “Outdoor Supplies” under Catalog.Enter 1 for Quantity and click Add
3.Click Checkout
4.Enter something into the “Requisition Comments and Attachments”, “Enter requisition comments” textbox
5.Click the “Add” link for Line 1 Comments
6.Click OK (not Cancel) without entering any line comments
7.Click the icon on Line 1 “Details”
8.Change anything. User added an “A” to the end of “Supplier Item ID”, scroll down and click Ok
9.Note that the comments you entered in Step 4 are now gone.
10.If user go back into “Details” and make another change (in this case user added a “B” to “Supplier Item ID” ) and click OK, the comments return.

Going in and out of details, even without changing anything, causes the same toggling of the comments.


Clicking “Save for Later” also causes the comments to re-appear.
