E-AD: Unable to Save Modifications to the INDEX DDL for the Index "_" on Table TL_PAYABLE_TIME. Override Value for an Oracle Index Parameter is not retained for a Key Index in Application Designer. (Doc ID 2631132.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.56 version, Application Designer

Override Value for an Oracle Index Parameter is not retained for a Key Index in Application Designer.
The issue is not observed for the other indexes of the same record.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1- Go to PIA and Navigate to PeopleTools > Utilities > Administration > DDL Model Defaults.
2- Select Oracle.
3- Statement Type: Index.
4- Add the INITRANS parameter.
5- Add the Parameter to the *Model SQL:
  CREATE [UNIQUE] **BITMAP** INDEX [IDXNAME] ON [TBNAME] ([IDXCOLLIST]) TABLESPACE **INDEXSPC** STORAGE (INITIAL **INIT** NEXT **NEXT** MAXEXTENTS **MAXEXT** PCTINCREASE **PCT**) PCTFREE **PCTFREE** INITRANS **INITRANS** PARALLEL NOLOGGING;
  
6- Open Application Designer.
7- Open Record Definition TL_PAYABLE_TIME.
8- Select Tools > Data Administration > Indexes...
9- Select Index '_' and click on Edit DDL.
10- For the Oracle Platform Select the Parameter INITRANS and click on the 'Edit Param' button.
11- Set an Override Value of 40 (or any other value, but 2, which is already the default). Click Ok.
12- Click Ok.
13- Select Index 'A' and click on Edit DDL.
14- For the Oracle Platform Select the Parameter INITRANS and click on the 'Edit Param' button.
15- Set an Override Value of 40 (or any other value, but 2, which is already the default). Click Ok.
16- Click Ok.
17- Click Ok.
18- Save the Record Definition.
19- Still on Record Definition TL_PAYABLE_TIME, Select Tools > Data Administration > Indexes...
20- Select Index '_' and click on Edit DDL.
21- Note that the Override Value for the INITRANS Parameter was not retained for Index '_'.
22- Click OK. Select Index 'A' and click on Edit DDL.
23- Note that the Override Value for Parameter INITRANS was retained for Index 'A'.
