E-Accessibility : Checkboxes Read Incorrectly with JAWS on IE 11 (Doc ID 2631665.1)

Symptoms

When in Accessibility Mode and using JAWS to navigate through pages with checkboxes it was noted that JAWS does not read the Checkbox label Correctly at times reading the Label of the ckeckbox bellow . This occurs only in IE11 and is not an issue in Firefox or Chrome.

 

Example of replication

1.Enable JAWS screen reader
2. Navigate to FIN environment
3. navigate to : FMS ->Accounts Payable -> Vouchers -> Add/Update -> Regular Entry
4. Tab to the “Tax Exempt Flag” checkbox.

Actual Result:JAWS reads “Estimated No. of Invoice Lines checkbox” instead of "Tax Exempt Flag"
