E-COB: COBOL Test Program PTPDBTST Will Not Run - Zero Byte Log File (Doc ID 2632105.1)

Symptoms

When using PeopleTools 8.55 COBOL, the COBOL Test Program PTPDBTST will not run - Zero Byte Log File
Attempting to run the sample COBOL programs (PTPDBTST and PTPDTTST) fail with an ERROR and the log file trace is empty.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch Peopletools
2. Run COBOL test program PTPDBTST
3. Error results

This issue prevents users from running any COBOLs.
