Invalid SQLExec Update For This Type Of PeopleCode Program. (2,146) Error When Saving Favorite in Careers (Doc ID 2632855.1)

Symptoms

Fatal PeopleCode SQL error when saving favorite.

The issue facing is that an applicant is unable to add job posting to favorite when the applicant hasn't first signed in.

 



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open the Candidate Gateway
2. Navigate to Careers homepage
3. Click on "View all jobs"
Result: A new page is opened listing all published jobs
4. Click on any displayed job posting
Result: The job posting description will be displayed
5. Click on "Add to Favorite Jobs"
Result: This will popup the sign in screen
6. Click on "Forgot Password"
Result: A popup will open.
7. Enter known user name
Note: Create a new UserId prior to this use case
8. Click on "Email new password"
Result: A popup message will inform you that an email is send if a valid username is entered
9. Enter password received by email
10. Click on "Sign in"
Result: A popup will open asking you for a new password
11. Enter a new password
12. Confirm password
13. Click on "Reset password".
Result: Once successfully performed, you are redirected to the previous page from where you initiated the sign in.
