Peoplesoft Data Masking Is Not Working in an Upgraded Environment (Doc ID 2634531.1)

Peoplesoft 9.2 (System) environment is an upgraded environment from version Peoplesoft 9.1 to version Peoplesoft 9.2.

Customer is trying to configure data masking in a Peoplesoft 9.2 Upgraded environment with Peopletools 8.56.08, but it is not working.

Customer has the same configuration in a Peoplesoft DEMO environment, which has exactly the same version of application and tools, and data masking works well. Why is this happening?
