Symptoms
When illegal characters are present on the name of ALE transmittal data and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) XML Files are submitted to the IRS, the IRS responds with an error
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Enter an illegal character on the name of ALE transmittal data.
2) Finalize the ACA Data Extract
3) Create ACA XML Files on Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files
