Attachments with Upper Case Title Gives Error-"Requested file attachment XXXX.PDF is not available in database record PV_ATT_DB_SRV" When Trying to Open (Doc ID 2641718.1)

Symptoms



ERROR:



STEPS:
1. FFILEDB URL > URLID = record:// PV_ATT_DB_SRV > No URL Properties defined
2. Administer File Attachments > Type = DB > Server/Record Name/URL ID = PV_ATT_DB_SRV
3. Voucher has two Attachments
  a. APX2001_OSS_DETAIL92.PDF file extension in all upper case letters
  b. OSS_APX1099CT.pdf extension is all lower case letters
  c. Both files open successfully
4. Files are saved to the PV_ATT_DB_SRV record > the file extension for APX2001_OSS_Detail92.PDF changes from upper case to lower case .pdf
5. Permission List PTPT33000 – Search Server tied to PeopleSoft User Role > VP1 has Role PeopleSoft User
6. Add Query using the following
  a. Records: A - VOUCHER, B - AP_VCHR_ATT, C - PV_ATTACHMENTS
  b. Fields: A - BUSINESS_UNIT, VOUCHER_ID, INVOICE_ID, INVOICE_DT
  B - AP_VCHR_ATT: BUSINESS_UNIT, VOUCHER_ID, SCM_ATTACH_ID, ATT_VERSION
  C - ATTACH_DESCR, ATTACHSYSFILENAME
7. Click on Expressions tab > Click Add Expression icon > Express Type = Drilling URL
8. Click Attachment URL link: URL Type = Internal URL, URLID = FILEDB, File Name Field = C.ATTACHSYSFILENAME > OK
9. Edit Expression Properties box now has Expression Text generated > 'psp///s/WEBLIB_FILEHTTP.ISCRIPT1.FieldFormula.IScript_GetAttachment?urlid=FILEDB&filename=%C.ATTACHSYSFILENAME%' > click on Use as Field link
10. Click on Run tab > click Drilling URL for file extension in all upper case, VP12019-04-25-13.20.47.323APX2001_OSS_Detail92.PDF
  Message: Requested file attachment VP12019-04-25-13.20.47.323APX2001_OSS_Detail92.PDF is not available in database record PV_ATT_DB_SRV
11. Click Drilling URL for file extension in lower case letters VP12019-04-25-13.21.26.438OSS_APX1099CT.pdf
  Message: Do you want to open or save VP12019-04-25-13.21.26.438OSS_APX1099CT.pdf  > Open
  File opens successfully
