ECA - Product Pricing Allows Four Decimal Places But Contracts Only Passes Two Decimal Places To Billing (Doc ID 2644226.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Contracts - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A product is created and a price with four decimal places is defined, for example, USD 0.0575 per square foot for office space.

When the product is added to a Customer Contract line, the extended billing amounts are calculated using only three decimal places leading to rounding errors in the billed amounts. The extended billing amounts that are sent from Contracts to Billing in turn only have two decimal places.

How can we get the expected precision for pricing?
