Group Is Not Refreshed In Matrix Team After HR Business Partner Transaction Is Updated To The Database (Doc ID 2646617.1)

Symptoms


Group build looses employees after HRBP Transaction is updated to the Database

Issue 1:

User has established group builds using criteria definitions for HR Business Partners.

In Matrix Team Build Definition, "Force Group Refresh" checkbox does not stay checked ON.

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Org Chart Viewer > Matrix Teams > Matrix Team > created a new matrix team
2. Matrix team is established using Group ID
The group id is setup with Criteria as follows
When user open the groups it has 12 rows.
3. Select "Force Group Refresh" checkbox in Matrix team page.
4. Save
5. Go back to Matrix team setup and user sees that  "Force Group Refresh" checkbox in not staying checked ON.

Issue 2:

Even though group refresh checkbox is checked in Matrix team build setup, once a Guided Self Service transaction is conducted on an employee, the employee is no longer in the list.

User has to go back in the the Group criteria and re-save the group for the employee to show back up.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Org Chart Viewer > Matrix Teams > Matrix Team > created a new matrix team
2. Matrix team is established using Group ID
3. When user runs count on the group,  it has 12 rows.
4. Select "Force Group Refresh" checkbox in Matrix team page.
4. Go to MSS Tile>My Team> Perform a Reporting change on an employee XXXX> Select Option to approve and auto update
5. Return to the Matrix team and now only 11 employees show and employee XXXX is not in the
list
5. Go to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Group Build > Group Build Records and Fields
6. Go back to the Group build definition, Click group Visualization and missing employee is in the list
and re-save and the employee is back in the group
