ELA: Lease Amendment to Reclassify Lease from Operating to Financial does not Recatergorize the Leased Asset Correctly (Doc ID 2647731.1)

Symptoms

When reclassifying a lease from operating to finance via a Lease Amendment in Lease Administration, the asset books for the recategorized leased asset cannot be updated on the Asset Book Information component in Asset Management.
When attempting to make changes to the asset books after lease reclassification/asset recategorization, the following error is displayed: "Asset has Suspend or Resume Depreciation Calculation Open Trans. Must run Depreciation Calc first. (8010,172)"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.Create an Operating Lease.
2.Activate it.
3.Run Depreciation Calculation
4.Do an Amendment on the Lease to Reclassify (Recategorize) it from Operating to Finance.
5.Activate the Amendment.
6.Run Depreciation Calculation.
7.Navigate to Asset Management > Asset Transaction > Asset Book information > Define Tax/Depr criteria
8.Try to make any change. It will give the error
"Asset has Suspend or Resume Depreciation Calculation Open Trans. Must run Depreciation Calc first. (8010,172)"
and will not allow to save the changes.
