The system records an Error when trying to save a newly created Assignment in Resource Management module, for an existing Project ID, and Generic Resource, stating that there is a problem in inserting the new Resource into the Project's Team as a new member.
Such Error would not take place in PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.1 Application Release.

Error inserting member to project team. "
The new Assignment is properly being set to Assign status, and the Project Team, and Project Activity Team, get both updated with the new named Resource Employee. However, the message stating that there has been an error is very confusing to the Users, who do not know where the problem may be coming from.
The system should not have any issues in being able to insert a new named Employee from a Generic Resource Request into the Project's Team for the created Assignment.
