Section 508 requires that grid column and row headers be programmatically defined. Specifically, columns must be defined with 'th scope="col"' and rows must be defined with 'th scope="row"'. Presently, grid rows do not have the scope defined. The grid property "Show Column Headers" enables a numbered column, but the scope is incorrectly defined as 'td scope="row"'. Additionally, the numbered column lacks any text in the column header, and the numbers do not sort with the data. Additional columns added through the grid properties, such as for the Add/Delete buttons, also do not have text in the column header. These deficiencies reduce the usability of the system for those that rely on screen-readers.
