E-SEC: Guest/Public User Failing to Login After Upgrade (Doc ID 2650286.1)

Symptoms

Guest access is not working after upgrading the PeopleTools version. Public-facing links to PeopleSoft content forces the end-user to a login screen instead of automatically logging the users in and displaying the content.

When the guest user would fail to authenticate during the initial login, administrators could re-enter the credentials for the guest user on the login screen, to authenticates the user into the system.
