E-PUM: When Installing an 8.58 Based PUM the Following Error is Seen: Inventory.xml NOT Found

Symptoms
When attempting to deploy a PUM DPK based on PeopleTools 8.58 (such as FSCM 9.2 PI 35) on Linux 7 the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
Error: Cloning of oracle home /apps/psoft/db/oracle-server/19.3.0.0 failed, error: Inventory.xml NOT found
The above error by itself can mean many things. What you really need to do is review the
/etc/orainst.loc
for the inventory_loc
for example:
inventory_loc=/opt/oracle/psft/db/oraInventory
Knowing the location navigate to the logs/InstallActions<date-time-stamp> directory below it, for example:
/opt/oracle/psft/db/oraInventory/logs/InstallActions2020-03-15_05-35-27PM
and review the
oraInstall<date-time-stamp>.out file.
