Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When navigating to a component with an apostrophe in it's name and selecting "Add to Favorites" a modal window is opened where the apostrophe is displayed as &0#39; The end user is presented with this confusing Html encoded string in the label that can be changed. But if the label is left as is then the characters &0#39; will remain in the label.

Example replication using French:

  1. Navigate to Administration du personnel > Données d’emploi > Données d’emploi
  2. Select Ajouter aux favoris (Add to Favorites)
  3. The label shows as Données d&0#39; emploi
  4. Select Add
  5. Select OK
  6. The label for the favorite displays as Données d&0#39; emploi

Example replication using Dutch:

  1. Navigate to Enterprise Learning > Catalogus > Programma’s beheren
  2. Select Toevoegen aan favorieten (Add to Favorites)
  3. The label shows as Programmad&0#39;s beheren
  4. Select Add
  5. Select OK
  6. The label for the favorite displays as Programmad&0#39;s beheren
