EPY: PAYGL02A - Warning-Employer Tax Expense Does not Match Employer Tax Liability for PAYCHECK_NBR (Doc ID 2665838.1)

Symptoms

 

Earnings and employer taxes on Paycheck do not Match earnings and taxes on distribution when running the PAYGL02 process.

Here is the following error in the log file:
  

 Warning-Employer Tax Expense does not match Employer Tax Liability for PAYCHECK_NBR 91761 and Account Code 0000022661
  ER Tax Expense : -294.98 ER Tax Liability : 0.00
  ERROR-Earnings on Paycheck do not match earnings distribution for PAYCHECK_NBR 91761
  Gross Pay: $ -2915.00 Earnings Dist: $ -23363.23
  ERROR-Tax Distribution does not match Employer Taxes for PAYCHECK_NBR 91761
  Distribution Total: $ -294.98 Employer Taxes: $ 0.00
  ERROR-Max paycheck errors have occurred
***ERRORS HAVE OCCURRED - Paygroup EUM was skipped.


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Ran a reversal adjustment on an employee (ie. Page 2) in order to get the money paid back to another employee (ie. Page 3)

2. Confirm the reversal on page 3

3. Delete the page 2 for the other reversal 

4. Run PSPPFUND and PAYGL02
