EMM: WM_PM Process Runs for More Than 48 Hrs

Symptoms
WM_PM is long running and it is running more than 48 hrs.
Some time back it only taking 6 hrs to complete but from last few months it is taking 48 hrs.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Run Projection Process -Navigator > Maintenance Management > Preventive Maintenance > Run Projection
2.Click Run and select Run date and time and WM_PM
