(Doc ID 2671915.1)
Last updated on JUNE 23, 2024
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.56 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Unable to login to the system when the authentication domain of the environment is a subset of an authentication domain of another PeopleSoft environment.
For example, if user logs in to the Production environment, which has the authentication domain .example.com, and then, after closing that environment, tries to log in to the test environment, which has the authentication domain .test.example.com, the system won't bring the landing page and just remains on the login page.
It works fine in Incognito Mode and is not specific to a user.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to the Production system, which has the authentication domain .example.com.
2. Logout from the Production system.
3. In same browser, open the login page for the Test environment, which has the authentication domain .test.example.com.
The system won't bring the landing page and just remains on the login page.
