E-IB: Service Operation Routing's External Password Length Limit (Doc ID 2677997.1)

Symptoms

While creating an outbound routing, the following error is seen when attempting to enter an external password longer than 32 characters. This was not a problem in PeopleTools (PT) 8.55.

The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:

1. Open a service operation (navigation is PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Integration Setup > Service Operation).

2. Click on the routing tab.

3. Create an outbound routing.

4. Enter an external password that is longer than 32 characers.

5. Try saving the change.
