E-PUM: Various Errors When Installing PT8.58 PUM Images on Oracle / Red Hat Linux (Doc ID 2679494.1)

Symptoms

 When deploying a PeopleTools 8.58 based PUM image on Linux various errors can appear such as:

  1. [FATAL] [DBT-50000] Unable to check for available memory
  2. Cloning of oracle home /apps/psft/db/oracle-server/19.3.0.0 failed, error: Inventory.xml NOT found
  3. Command = /sbin//acfsutil arguments = [version] env = null error = /bin/sh: /sbin//acfsutil: No such file or directory output =
  4. File "/.../DPK_INSTALL/setup/scripts/psftutils.py, line 38, in <module> from enum import Enum ImportError: No module named enum
  5. ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
  6. [FATAL] [INS-30060] Check for group existence failed.
  7. Puppet Error: Weblogic installation copying failed: Execution of 'su - psadm1 -c "/opt/oracle/psft/pt/jdk1.8.0_241/bin/java -jar
  8. Could not evaluate: No such file or directory @ rb_sysopen - /opt/oracle/psft/db/oracle-server/19.3.0.0/network/admin/listener.ora
  9. unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'NoneType' and 'str'
  10. Installation of Puppet Software Failed, GEM executable not found - Unable to local gem executable, message: Command 'which gem' returned non-zero exit status 1
