E-CLOUD: File Server Creation Fails If Custom FQDN is Used During Deployment of CM 10 (Doc ID 2679855.1)

Symptoms

On : 10 version, Cloud Manager Configuration

File Server Creation Fails on CM 10.  The File System is created but it fails to mount it.

The File Storage Service Mount point is still set to 'NULL'

 


The out.log file shows the following message:



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.) Log into Cloud Manager > Cloud Manager Settings.
2.) Click on File Server to configure the new file server.
3.) Populate the "File System Name", "Export" or "Mount Target" target fields.
4.) Click Create.
