Chartfield Security Not Working For ePro Requisitions


Following Steps Demonstrate How to Replicate
1. Navigated to: Setup Financials/Supply Chain>>Security>>Chartfield Security>>Secure Chartfield Options Method: User-ID Secured fields: Department
2. Set Component Security Action to Deny Access
3. Click Save. Select the Products Tab
4. Create security rule for field Department, just one detail value 92731.
5. Navigate to: Setup Financials/Supply Chain>>Security>>Chartfield Security>>Maintain Security Rules>>Define Security Rules
6. Click Add a New Value
7. Enter a name for the Security Rule and the Field Name being secured
8. Rule Definition Tab:
Field Critieria = Detail Value
SETID = SHARE
Select Value = 92731
9. Change Default Values for new Rows Effective Date to 01/01/1900
Leave All Products box checked
Associate Users
User ID = EX_EMPLOYEE
Effective Date = 01/01/1900
10. Run the Build.
11. Assign rule TEST_DEPT to user EX_EMPLOYEE
12. Verify GL Journal Entry Component is registered.
13. Turn on User Chartfield Security
14. Login as superuser. The user should not face any issues.
15. Login as EX_EMPLOYEE.
