Benefits for a Rehired Retiree Are Being Terminated Unexpectedly by the Rehire Event

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a retired employee who left with benefits is rehired, he/she is having their benefits terminated by Benefits Administration, when the rehire event is processed.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Rehire a retiree with benefits (Navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data).
2. Process the REH event (Navigation: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > On-Demand Event Maintenance).
