Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer can deploy PUM CS9.2.17 successfully if the base directory doesn't has 100GB space. This is an issue with newer PUMs which are on PT 8.58.

Following error is captured in the dpk setup log,

Checking if the Base Directory has Enough Free Space: [FAILED]
The PeopleSoft base directory [/patches/CS92/base] has only 22.029541015625 GB of disk space available. Please ensure it has at least 104857600 of free space for fulltier deployment.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install CS9.2.17 on Linux (Native OS install)
2. Set base directory outside the psft_home_dir
3. Set Mount point to 40GB size only whereas psft_home_dir is more than 100GB.
