Symptoms
If there are two activities associated with two different asset definitions and try to assign a transaction to the asset 1, the following message is thrown:
The message indicates that activity 2 has no associated asset definition which is incorrect because asset 2 is associated with activity 2.
Steps
1. Create a project.
2. Set the Asset Integration Rules to Manual Identification.
3. Add two activities.
4. Create an asset definition.
5. Click on Relate by Asset and associate the asset with the activity 1.
6. Create another asset definition.
7. Click on Relate by Asset and associate the asset with the activity 2.
8. Add an ACT transaction on Activity 1.
9. Add an ACT transaction on Activity 2.
10. Open Assign Transactions to Assets and add the two assets.
11. Click on Assign Transactions link for the first asset.
12. Click on Search.
13. The ACT transaction on activity 1 is checked as included. Click on Assign Transactions button.
