Symptoms

When attempting to deploy a PT 8.58-based PUM Image via the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Marketplace, the following error occurs in the psft_oci_setup.log:

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Start the image deployment from the OCI Marketplace.
  2. Supply the passwords for the required environment user accounts such as the ACCESS ID, PeopleSoft Database admin (SYS/SYSTEM), etc.
