E-DPK: Full-Tier Image Deployment Fails Error "Specified SID Name <SIDNAME> already exists." (Doc ID 2694342.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to perform a Full Tier (PUM/FRESH/DEMO) deployment on Linux using the Native OS installation method, the following error occurs in the psft-dpk-setup.log file:

 

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download the new PUM Image files on a server where a PUM Image has been previously installed.
  2. Run the DPK setup script.
  3. Error occurs when attempting to create the new PUM Image container database.
